i'd like to say hi to my dad. hi, papa mats!

grace is my best friend in the entire universe.

it's now 2006 and i just finished my third semester at USC. go trojans. fight on.

i like to say "so badly" after every phrase.

i've gained 30 lbs. since high school.

my friends and i fail miserably at trivial pursuit: pop culture v2. - we're pretty uncultured.

i still have yet to find a japanese girl.

WHERE ARE ALL THE JAPANESE GIRLS AT?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! 2-0-0-5!!!!!

Saturday, December 18, 2004

the biggest reason why im updating my Xanga, even though I never do....is because:

I GOT INTO USC!!!!...they admitted me as a transfer student and I begin being a TROJAN SPRING 2005!

This is a BIG deal to me because USC has always been my "dream" school and I was rejected as an incoming froshie, and headed out to UCRIVERSIDE instead.  UCR was probably the BEST two years of my life (no joke).  I made some awesome friends and was blessed to go to college with two of my best friends.  Now, I decided to switch my major back to Business (I do well in Calc and classes like that)...and I was accepted undergrad into USC MARSHALL SCHOOL OF BUSINESS.

I'm scared, nervous, and excited all at the same time about starting next semester.  I've been given another chance at school again, and I definately cannot overlook this opportunity.  If you're ever at USC or want to come visit me, please do.  I have my orientation January 5, and I will know more about where I will be living for sure (stupid apartments out there) and my new e-mail addy and all that good stuff.

If you want to keep reading (for those who are bored)...below are just a few thoughts of mine:
1.  Being at Pasadena City College for a semester has really changed my life academically.  I was pressured into getting a 3.5 or better for my admission to USC, and it really made me work hard.  I ended up with a 3.8(ONE "B") and I know I could have gotten that 4.0.  Out of the whole semester, I missed just ONE class and I regreted missing it after.  I learned that going to every class, even early ones and boring ones...is definately worth it.  I feel more confident, after having two rough years in sciences, that I can still pull only A's and B's (which I've done in ALL my GE's and Business classes thus far).

2.  Pasadena City College, although people knock on city colleges, has been really "educational" for me.  haha Funny as it may sound, I actually feel a lot more "cultured" after completing a semester at PCC.  My film class was cool because I learned about classic directors and films, and saw classics as well.  My art class taught me about many different art periods leading up to the 20th century, and now I can actually identify paintings and stuff.  My Speech class opened the door for me onto the PCC speech team(yes im a nerd)-and met the USC speech coach who told me to contact him when I get into USC.  And lastly, my anthro class-EH hahah. So do not knock on city colleges because it was a "good" experience for me...and plus I got to meet some cool people.

Now, I need to look for a place at USC.  If anyone knows of anyone who knows of anyone, who knows of anyone, etc....of a place...let me know! Well, that is all for now...it has truly been a GOOD week for me :)

GO TROJANS....FIGHT ON!

I am finally 20!  Thanks to all who wished me a happy birthday and I truly appreciate everything.

Lately, I feel a little blah about the way life is going.  Not that it's truly bad, it's just this blah feeling that I get.  How do you tell a girl that you have feelings for her, even though you know that you are probably better off as friends?  I hate growing up and getting older.  I miss the days where you're a little kid and you run around and learn about simple things, and you have no worries.  Your parents pick you up from school, and then take care of you.  Now, everything you do and say will have some sort of effect on your life.  It sucks being an adult, but I guess thats what growing up is all about.  I miss those days of innocence, now life is full of drama and stupid little petty things.

School for me is going good for now.  I joined the PCC speech team, HA HA...and its actually kind of fun.  Most of the team members are a bit weird and kind of creep me out, but they are mostly good-hearted people.  I have a competition coming up in a a couple weeks, and im actually preparing for it. (I know I am a loser)

So im hoping that I will be at USC this coming semester, but I am actually doubting if I am going to join my fraternity chapter there. I love UCR, and the DELTS are UCR...because the people are good people and bros that I get along with.  At USC, the guys are more of the hardcore typical frat guys.  As most of you know, I am not the "typical" frat guy so I am not sure if I want to be associated with them, especially when I met them and they looked down upon me because I came from UCR.

RAINNNNN....rain means SNOW and i love the snow.  I cannot wait to go out and snowboard and jsut have fun.  If anyone ever wants to go snowboarding or is going up snowboarding, let me know and I am sooooo there.  I am trying to plan a trip of christmas break where we going to get a cabin for a few days or more and just snowboard during the day and party at night...nonstop fun...away from schoool. Hopefully at this point in my life, I will be accepted into USC.

Well I am heading out....and once again I appreciate all that made my 20th birthday a GREAT day :) Thanks

hey all...

So.... I thought that this labor day weekend would be interesting, but it actually kind of sucks.  I've seriously done NOTHING all weekend except stay at home during the day and then do stupid stuff at night and then go to sleep and do the same thing the next day.  Not only does this weekend kind of suck...the parents keep yelling at me for everything. ALWAYS telling me to clean my room! ahhhhh its not even messy and they'll yell at me to clean my room.

I seriously need some EXCITEMENT in my life...because right now its really lacking.  School is whatever and I got a good/bad schedule.  On Monday, I have a class that meets 5 times the whole semester, and then tuesday I have speech from 9-10 and theater arts from 1-4...then wednesday I have art history from 3-6 and thurs morn I have speech from 9-10.  Basically...I have all DAy thursday off(after 10)...no class friday...sat n sun...and most of the time I have mondays off.  It's good cause I get a lot of time but im going to get sooooooo freaking bored...so I decided to apply for jobs.

I'm "sick" of working at IndyMac and I've always wanted to work retail so I figured I'd work that until christmas time(for the discounts) and then quit and hopefully go to USC?? Possible jobs: Urban outfitters, Gap, Old Navy, and pacsun....anyone have any ideas of where i shall work?

i need a girlfriend...still.... hahah

where are all the HAPA GIRLS????? sheesh i know only a few, soooo sad
